The Shotgun

Shot Guns work the same way as rifles do. The one major difference is the cartidges that fifles and shot guns have. Shotguns have 50 to 200 miniature pellets in one shot. They also carry much mure propelent (gun powder). Some Shotguns carry one big slug about the size of a racket ball or special slugs that knock down doors but mainly they simply carry 50 or so pelets. Once all of the pelets reach the muzzle the go out in different directions. This makes the gun deadly in close combat but extremely poor at long range. If shot guns are ever used in combat they are always used in Urban warfare were you usually don't fire fron long ranges.
